Booking Your Act
Book your band/performance art/private party/science experiment
at Tasty World.
Band/Performance Booking
Booking calls are taken Wednesday and Thursday from 3 – 6 pm Eastern
Time by Murphy Wolford or Ryan Key at 706-543-0797. Booking calls
will not be taken at any other times. The bartender will not be
able to answer your booking questions. If you do not reach us during
the specified time, feel free to leave us a voice-mail and we will
return your call as soon as we can.
Tasty World is typically booked 6 – 8 weeks in advance, so plan
accordingly. We try to build all of our shows around a local headliner.
If you are a touring band coming to Athens for the first time, we
encourage you to visit the Athens
Music Directory or us resources like MySpace to find a like-minded
band willing to host you. We do not require you to build your own
bill, but having a local to play with could facilitate the booking
process. If another band is handling booking a show that has you
on the bill, it’s still a good idea to confirm the show with the
club via phone or e-mail.
When first contacting Tasty World to book your act, please send
us an e-mail with your contact information, EPK, and links to
music online. When received, you will be sent an e-mail letting
you know that your music is being reviewed, and you will be given
further information. PLEASE DO NOT add the Tasty World e-mail address
to your band’s mailing list!

Please allow 10 business days for the package to arrive, and then
follow-up with an e-mail, or call during the booking hours. We have
interest in your band, and we will listen to the tape or CD.
Private Parties
For private party booking call Murphy at 706-543-0797, or e-mail
with the Subject Line: “attn: Murphy - Private Party”.
We typically host private parties on the second floor, but the first
floor is also available to rent. Rates vary, depending on time,
day of the week, and time of year. (Night time on a Saturday game
day, high demand than a Wednesday afternoon in the summertime.)
A soundman and use of our PA system are available upon request.
If you need a DJ or band for your party, ask us for recommendations.
