Tasty World is proud to present Bluegrass Wednesdays at Tasty World - the best in local Bluegrass music.

Every Wednesday we kick off the evening with an open jam from 7:00 - 11:00. Some of the area’s finest musicians come together for a weekly jam session. This is a friendly, non-threatening environment where beginners are welcome.

A great organization! The AFMDS hosts a bi-weekly jam session on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays at the Flicker Theatre and Bar, 263 West Washington Street, Athens. Also, don’t miss the “Hoot” on the 2nd Monday of each month at Athens Steam Pub.

Krazy Al’s Mega Music - (Link coming soon) Krazy Al’s is your North East Georgia Bluegrass headquarters. Allen stocks dozens of Bluegrass instruments including a large selection of upright basses, mandolins, banjos, fiddles and resonator guitars. They offer lessons on most Bluegrass instruments and they host an informal Bluegrass jam every Saturday from about 10 a.m. to about 3 p.m. They are one of the few stores open on Sundays.
